Rogerball was developed by certified tennis instructor Roger Peskin. He thought that by using a large foam ball that moves slowly through the air and off the bounce, the player would have a better target and more time to set up and hit the ball.  Then he fashioned smaller, easy-to-handle racquets that reduced emphasis on power.  He found he had come up with a game that allows beginners to practice for hours on end without frustration. When he tested his game, Roger was delighted. “There were longer rallies with more opportunity for exercise - a real aerobic workout, and more fun than tennis!”
